[ The journey to the station, meeting up with the guy, relocating to their final destination and making the appropriate transaction in a seemingly empty room has all gone successfully enough. There's the unspoken concern for Nazuna's companion but that is a matter to be addressed once they've secured their privacy. He does glimpse up at the other boy as they proceed down the hall though he's soon distracted with searching for the room number that matches with his key card.

Ah.

Nazuna comes to an unannounced halt and blindly reaches behind him to grab at Asahi to prevent him from wandering further. While no apology is offered, he's quick to withdraw his hand to wordlessly focus on working the door open. There's a short click almost immediately and he pushes his weight against the door before the back handle unintentionally knocks against the wall and reveals the room in its full glory. After the light switch is flipped up, that is.

As his shoulders slump forward, Nazuna forces himself to stand properly once more. He peers over to Asahi nd jerks his head in the room's direction, expecting him to go inside first.

What's waiting for them isn't horribly lavish and just barely misses the mark of passing for a standard hotel room. There's a good sized bed at the far end, a television monitor hovering above a dresser, a miniature fridge and a door that presumably leads to a bathroom. But the lack of windows and one wall being partially lined with mirrors serves as a reminder of the room's purpose.

It's all stuff that is going to be investigated further in a second.

A sigh of relief leaves Nazuna when he finally steps inside. The hood of his jacket is pushed off his head when the door is closed. Okay, he can relax for two seconds. Now he squats down to get his shoes off. ]

This is all ours for the next three hours... ♪

Are you sure...? [He doesn't want to give up the idea.] It wasn't expensive, was it? I'm sure they'll hold it for you.

It wasn't expensive or anything like that. I don't want you to get worked up over that kind of thing~? It's replaceable but this time isn't, right?

I guess? [Asahi says, wholly unconvinced.] But, um, I'm not really in a rush. So. If you really don't want it I guess that's okay, but just say so if you do..

[ This guy is tough to sell to... ]

What's more important is the milk you're going to get me.

Alright...

[He's not totally convinced, but he can give it up. He nods, and starts heading towards the fridges in the back of the shop.]

You said strawberry milk...?

[ How many things is he willing to give up today— ]

That's right. The pink and white one...

[ He cranes his neck to try to look over Asahi's shoulder. ]

Unless you're concerned about my stomach, I can do just fine with a water~?

Huh? But you said it doesn't bother you?

[He's already reaching into the fridge for the pink and white bottle. Asahi takes it out, and frowns at it.]

Stop trying to accommodate me.. Just tell me what you like. Please?

I told you I liked it... I'm just not picky, that's all. And, I mean... I know I'm not getting any taller so drinking milk is all in vain. So I'm drinking it exclusively because I like it.

[ He's gonna pluck that milk from Asahi's hand. ]

H-Hey! [Asahi fusses, because isn't he supposed to pay for Nito's milk?] Wait, you should get something to eat, too-

[ He taps the bottle against his own cheek. ]

Oho~? Asachin's willing to feed me, too?

Well, yeah. You should probably eat something? Or maybe I'm just projecting, I'm kind of hungry...

[He couldn't stomach food before they met up, too nervous to put his stomach to the test.]

Um, well, if you feel that way... ? Are you going to be okay with stuff from here? I mean, if I knew you were hungry then I might have suggested to stay at the hotel since we'd have access to full meals there...

[ He waves his empty hand in dismissal. ]

We'll be okay. We can't go hungry in a place like this. So I guess we can split up real quick so we can find something to eat.

[ Which Nazuna's already putting into action, aimlessly wandering in the direction they came. ]

I'm not that hungry! [He says quickly, waving his hands. Oh, god, he didn't mean to make Nito worry. But the other boy is already gone to hunt down something to eat. Asahi sighs. He opens the adjacent fridge to get his favorite hojicha, then heads down the aisle towards the pre-packaged baked goods.

Curry buns? Sounds good. He grabs two. Then pauses, and wonders what kind of buns Nito likes. Sweet ones, probably.... Cream?]

[ It's plenty easy to locate an egg sandwich. Can't go wrong with a classic. Maybe they can share it? Unless Asahi doesn't like egg. But if he doesn't like egg how is he so big... ?

Oh, he's standing in a daze and getting off topic. One of the sandwiches is pulled off of the refrigerated shelving before Nazuna decides to look for Asahi. This proves to be too simple considering the other guy towers over displays. ]

Did you find something~?

[ Bounding up behind Asahi, he looks to the other's hands and the nearby shelf for any indication of a successful mission. ]

[Asahi holds up his little armful, the drink and the curry buns, then gestures to the shelf.]

Which one do you like? I was trying to guess but I would rather you just pick.

Um, I like the curry ones~?

[ Maybe they shouldn't have these many choices. ]

Maybe next time I should bring bento with me...

Oh, me too. [Asahi says with a little smile.] But why do you need a bento? I mean, it's my treat? It's okay, right?

Oh, yeah, that's fine~? It'd just be better for our wallets if we don't buy our meals every time, that's all.

I guess so...

[He still thinks it's weird to keep meeting in love hotels. Not really how high school seniors normally date. But if their next date is more normal, then maybe..]

Do you want to go eat at the park?

That sounds good with me? We could find a good place to sit somewhere and out of the way even if we aren't able to find a bench. And there will be some nice scenery to enjoy... ♪

It sounds nice. [Asahi agrees. There's a small pile of things in his arms, and he looks down at them and then back at Nito.] Are you ready to go?

Yep~!

[ Which leads to a very exciting scene of queuing up at the front of the store and respectfully paying. Nazuna keeps his end of the deal and is sure not to go ahead and pay for everything to keep it even which has them both end up with their own bag.

And he doesn't bother hanging around. They already agreed to go to the park so Nazuna doesn't see a reason to debate it. He's out the door as soon as he hears the other boy's transaction end. Lightly swinging his arms, he hums to himself as he proceeds along the sidewalk. ]

...~ ♪

[After everything is paid for, and their bags are traded, Asahi follows Nito out of the convenience store and down the street. The nearest park is conveniently close by, just on the other side of the train station, and soon they're trading urban sidewalks for grassy pathways.

Fortunately, an empty park bench is quickly spotted, so they can sit down side by side and start their impromptu lunch.]

..What was that song you were just humming?

[ He quickly brings his hands together with a mumble of itadakimasu before digging into his bag. ]

Mm~?

[ Asahi's question brings him to halt. Right, he was humming. ]

Oh, um~? It's nothing you'd ever hear since you're not into stuff like that but it was one of my unit's songs.

Oh! You mean your idol unit? [He slowly opens the packaging on his first bread, but doesn't make a move to eat any.] I'd like to listen to your music.
